At KVS Castings Ltd., our laboratory is equipped with advanced testing equipment to ensure the quality and integrity of our castings. Here’s an overview of our lab testing equipment:
Spectro Analyzer
Our spectro analyzer is used for chemical analysis, allowing us to verify the composition of metals and ensure they meet the required specifications.
Microscope
We utilize microscopes for microscopic examination of casting surfaces, enabling us to detect any defects or irregularities that may affect the quality of the castings.
Universal Testing Machine (UTM)
The UTM is employed to test the mechanical properties of materials, including tensile strength, yield strength, and elongation, providing crucial data for quality control purposes.
Permeability Tester
This equipment is used to measure the permeability of molding sand, helping us assess its suitability for the casting process and ensure optimal mold quality.
Sand Shatter Tester
The sand shatter tester evaluates the friability of molding sand, providing insights into its durability and performance during the casting process.
Sieve Shaker
We use sieve shakers to perform particle size analysis on molding sand, ensuring consistency and uniformity in the sand properties for optimal casting results.
Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)

Optical Hardness Tester
This equipment measures the hardness of materials using optical principles, providing valuable data for assessing the mechanical properties of castings.
Profile Projector
